Mont. Code Ann. § 2-15-203

Western governors' university

En

The governor is authorized to act in consort with the governors of other states to create an entity to facilitate the provision of higher education services by electronic means to the residents of Montana and other states. The governor may take any steps necessary for Montana to join the entity that is created, including the payment of a fee, assessment, or other charge required for membership. It is anticipated that the entity will be called the western governors' university, but this authorization is not dependent on the entity being known by any specific name.
