Mont. Code Ann. § 20-25-1508

An action brought for a violation of this part must be commenced within 1 year after the day the cause of action accrues. For the purposes of this section, each date that a violation of this part persists or a policy that violates this part is in effect constitutes a continuing violation, and the statute of limitations is tolled until the violation ceases.
