When the purchaser of any personal property capable of manual delivery pays the purchase price, the officer making the sale shall deliver to the purchaser the property and, if desired, execute and deliver to the purchaser a certificate of sale. The certificate conveys to the purchaser all rights that the debtor had in the property on the day the execution or attachment was levied.
