(Temporary)
Except as provided in 27-1-703, an obligation imposed upon several persons or a right created in favor of several persons may be:
(1) joint;
(2) several; or
(3) joint and several. (Terminates on occurrence of contingency--sec. 11(2), Ch. 429, L. 1997.)

Except as provided in 27-1-703 and 27-1-705, an obligation imposed upon several persons or a right created in favor of several persons may be:
