The seal of the supreme court is circular in form and not less than 1 3/4 inches in diameter, on which are engraved the words "Supreme Court, State of Montana", with the word "Seal" in the center thereof, which seal must be procured by the clerk of the supreme court at the expense of the state; and an impression thereof, certified to by the clerk, must be filed with the secretary of state.
