It is unlawful for a person who has been convicted of a violation of the banking laws of any state or nation to accept employment in a bank in this state without first stating the relevant facts to the directors of the bank. A person who has been convicted of a banking law violation may not be employed in a bank without the approval of the department, granted in writing after a full consideration of the facts.
