Issuing license -- limitations

Known as the The Montana Insurance Consultant Licensure Act

The act spans §§ 33–33 (11 sections).

The commissioner may issue a consultant license to an individual who has complied with the requirements of this chapter with respect to either life insurance, meaning all of those kinds of insurance authorized in 33-1-207, 33-1-208, 33-20-1001, 33-21-103, 33-22-501, and 33-22-601, or general insurance, meaning all of those kinds of insurance authorized in 33-1-206, 33-1-207, 33-1-209 through 33-1-212, 33-1-214 through 33-1-219, and 33-1-221 through 33-1-229, as specified in the license.
