Voting agreements

Known as the Montana Nonprofit Corporation Act

The act spans §§ 35–35 (295 sections).

(1) Two or more members may provide for the manner in which they will vote by signing an agreement for that purpose. Voting agreements may be valid for a period of up to 10 years. For public benefit corporations, voting agreements must have a reasonable purpose consistent with the corporation's public or charitable purposes.

(2) A voting agreement created under this section is specifically enforceable.
