Collection of appraisal fees

Known as the Real Estate Appraiser Licensing and Certification Act

The act spans §§ 37–37 (55 sections).

A person who performs independent appraisal services as a licensed or certified real estate appraiser in this state may not bring an action in any court in this state to collect compensation for the performance of those services unless the person alleges and proves that the person held a valid license or certificate at all times during the performance of those services.
