Mont. Code Ann. § 37-60-103

The purpose of this chapter is to regulate the qualifications and standards of practice of private security firms, electronic security firms, private investigators, private security firearms instructors, private security guards, registered process servers, and security alarm installers to protect the public health, safety, and welfare.
