Veteran hiring preference for private employers authorized -- definition
Known as the Montana Veteran Hiring Preference Act
The act spans §§ 39-29-201 to 39-29-203 (3 sections).

(1) A private sector employer may adopt an employment policy that gives preference in hiring to a veteran.
(2) For the purposes of this part, "private sector employer" means any employer that is not a public employer. The term includes for-profit and not-for-profit employers.
