Capacity of minors to borrow money for education

A minor who contracts to borrow money to defray the expenses of attending any college or university or other institution of higher education beyond high school has full legal capacity to act on the minor's own behalf and has all the rights, powers, and privileges and is subject to the obligations of persons of full age with respect to those contracts.
