Department authorized to adopt rules

Known as the Montana Consumer Product Safety Act

The act spans §§ 50–50 (35 sections).

(1) The authority to adopt rules for the efficient enforcement of this chapter is vested in the department.

(2) The department has the authority to adopt by reference without public hearing rules adopted under the Federal Hazardous Substances Act as amended.
