A medical practitioner may prescribe, directly, by a standing order, or by a collaborative practice agreement, or dispense, as permitted under 37-2-104, an opioid antagonist to an eligible recipient. The medical practitioner shall document the reasons for which the opioid antagonist was prescribed or dispensed.
