The legislature recognizes that the large number of uninsured and underinsured Montanans has a significant long-term human and economic impact on families, health care providers, and the state of Montana. It is the intent of the legislature through this part to enhance access to primary care and preventive care for Montana residents by strengthening and supporting Montana's community health centers.
