Resolution of intention to create district

(1) Before creating a district, the governing body shall pass a resolution of intention to create the district.

(2) The resolution must designate:

(a) the proposed name of the district;

(b) the necessity for the proposed district;

(c) a general description of the territory or lands to be included within the district, giving the boundaries of the district;

(d) the general character of the system and its proposed location;

(e) the name of the engineer who is to have charge of the work; and

(f) the estimated cost of the district.
