Compensation and expenses

Members of a public safety commission shall receive no compensation but may receive actual and necessary travel and other expenses incurred in the performance of official duties. Such costs shall be borne by the county if the commission member is appointed by the board of county commissioners, by the city or town by which appointed, or borne equally by the county and city or town if jointly appointed.
