Notwithstanding any other provision of law, it is lawful for any executor, administrator, guardian or conservator, trustee, or other fiduciary to invest the funds or money in the person's custody or possession, eligible for investment, in bonds of the home owners' loan corporation or debentures issued by the federal housing administrator, guaranteed as to principal and interest by the United States government.
