Mont. Code Ann. § 75-5-632

Criminal penalties

A person who willfully or negligently violates 75-5-605 or any pretreatment standard established pursuant to this chapter is guilty of an offense and, upon conviction, is subject to a fine not to exceed $25,000 per day of violation or imprisonment for not more than 1 year, or both. Following an initial conviction under this section, subsequent convictions subject a person to a fine of not more than $50,000 per day of violation or imprisonment for not more than 2 years, or both.
