(Temporary)
Any person who has paid assessments to the department may request the department to refund all or any portion of the assessment levied under the rules of the department and paid by the producer. All such requests must be in writing, filed not later than August 1 of each calendar year for the preceding crop year, and must be on forms to be available without cost to all producers who pay assessments.
