Title warranty of livestock sold

Known as the Montana Livestock Marketing Act

A livestock market or livestock dealer shall warrant to the purchaser thereof the title of all livestock sold. A livestock market is liable to the rightful owner of all livestock sold for the net proceeds for such livestock whether or not the rightful owner was known to the market at the time of the sale.
