Tax exemption of bonds

Known as the Housing Act

Bonds, notes, or other obligations issued by the board under this part or by local housing authorities under Title 7, chapter 15, parts 21, 44, and 45, their transfer, and their income (including any profits made on their sale) are free from taxation by the state or any political subdivision or other instrumentality of the state, except for estate taxes. The board is not required to pay recording or transfer fees or taxes on instruments recorded by it.
