N.C. Gen. Stat. § 10B-134.7

Authority to perform remote electronic notarial acts

2022-54, s. 1; 2023-57, ss. 2, 9(d).

(a) An electronic notary may perform a remote electronic notarial act authorized under this Part only while the electronic notary is physically located in this State.

(b) A remote electronic notarization performed by an electronic notary of this State under this Part is governed by the laws of this State.
