N.D. Cent. Code § 10-19.1-136

Foreign corporation - Issuance of certificate of authority

Known as the North Dakota Business Corporation Act

The act spans §§ 10-19.1-00.1 to 10-19.1-99 (185 sections).

If the secretary of state finds an application for a certificate of authority conforms to law and all fees have been paid, the secretary shall:

1. Endorse on the application the word "filed" and the date of the filing;

2. File the application and the certificate of good standing or certificate of existence; and 3. Issue to the corporation or its representative a certificate of authority to transact business in this state.
