N.D. Cent. Code § 10-32.1-03

Legal recognition of electronic records and electronic signatures

Known as the North Dakota Uniform Limited Liability Company Act

The act spans §§ 10–10 (103 sections).

For purposes of this chapter:

1. A record or signature may not be denied legal effect or enforceability solely because it is in electronic form;

2. A contract may not be denied legal effect or enforceability solely because an electronic record was used in its formation;

3. If a provision requires a record to be in writing, then an electronic record satisfies the requirement; and 4. If a provision requires a signature, then an electronic signature satisfies the requirement.
