N.D. Cent. Code § 11-18-10

Recorder to keep reception record - Contents

The recorder shall keep a record known as "The Reception Record". The record must be ruled in parallel columns showing:

1. The document number.

2. The date of recording.

3. The name of the grantor.

4. The name of the grantee.

5. The character of the instrument.

6. The book and page or document number upon which the instrument is recorded.

7. The name of the person to whom the instrument was returned.

8. A brief description of the property, if any, described in the instrument. Immediately after any document or paper of a kind mentioned in section 11-18-09 is numbered, it must be entered in the reception record. The reception record must be a part of the public records of the office and open to public inspection during office hours.
