The chief brand inspector shall keep a record of all brands issued in this state. The record must include:
1. The name and address of the person that owns the brand;
2. A depiction of the brand;
3. The type of livestock on which the brand is authorized for use; and 4. The location or placement of the brand as authorized by the chief brand inspector.
