N.D. Cent. Code § 43-19.1-16.2

Qualifications of land surveyor interns

The board shall certify as a land surveyor intern an otherwise qualified applicant who has passed a board-approved written examination on the fundamentals of mathematics and the basic principles of land surveying and:

1. Has a baccalaureate degree in land surveying from an institution that offers board- approved accredited programs;

2. Has a baccalaureate degree in a board-approved program other than land surveying and:

a. Has board-approved educational training in land surveying in connection with the baccalaureate degree or other program; and b. Has at least two years of qualifying land surveying experience of a character satisfactory to the board;

3. Has an associate degree in land surveying from a board-approved program and has at least two years of qualifying land surveying experience of a character satisfactory to the board; or 4. Has a certificate in land surveying from an institution that offers a board-approved program and has at least four years of qualifying land surveying experience of a character satisfactory to the board.
