N.H. Rev. Stat. Ann. § 259:12-c

"Commercial driver license" or "CDL" shall mean a license issued by the department in accordance with the requirements of RSA 263:82 et seq. and the federal Commercial Motor Vehicle Safety Act of 1986 to an individual which authorizes the individual to drive a class of commercial motor vehicle.
