N.H. Rev. Stat. Ann. § 261:113

The department may, if it is satisfied of the facts stated in such application, grant the same and issue to the applicant a certificate of registration containing the name, residence and address of such applicant and the general distinguishing number assigned and such other provisions as the director may determine.
