Advances to Laborers

Source. 1917, 3:1

Whoever enters into an agreement to labor for another in any lumbering operation or in driving logs, and in consideration thereof receives any advance of goods, money or transportation, and without cause fails to enter into said employment as agreed and labor for a sufficient length of time to reimburse his employer for said advances and expenses of transportation, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
