Acute Stress Disorder and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder; Presumption

I. Notwithstanding RSA 281-A:2, XI and XIII, and RSA 281-A:27, there shall be a prima facie presumption that acute stress disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder in an emergency responder, as defined in RSA 281-A:2, V-c are occupationally caused.

II. For purposes of this section, the date of injury for acute stress disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder in an emergency responder shall be subject to the provisions for determining date of injury for occupational disease or cumulative trauma under RSA 281-A:16.
