N.H. Rev. Stat. Ann. § 29:7

The treasurer shall render to the commissioners annually, and oftener if required, a true and minute statement of all the sums by him received and paid since the last statement, with the vouchers therefor; and the commissioners shall audit, adjust and settle the same.
