Whenever the state fire marshal finds that a principal cause of a fire was faulty wiring, he shall notify the board which shall conduct its own investigation of the occurrence. If the board finds that the wiring in question was installed by a person currently licensed by the board, such person shall be promptly ordered before the board to show cause why his license should not be revoked or suspended.
