Psychology Client-Patient Bill of Rights

The board shall provide guidance for the provision of informed consent for client or patient rights, based on the professional codes of ethics as they apply in the variety of settings in which psychologists, licensed school psychologist-doctoral, or licensed school psychologist-specialists practice. When addressing the patient or client rights, reasonable accommodations shall be made for those persons who cannot read or who have communication impairments and those who do not understand English.
