N.H. Rev. Stat. Ann. § 332-E:8

A temporary waiver of the certification requirements may be given for a period of time not to exceed 90 days, in the event of extenuating circumstances. A temporary certificate may be issued for a period not to exceed one year to the operator of a public water system serving not more than 250 persons in the event that the certification requirements cannot be met.
