N.H. Rev. Stat. Ann. § 365:31

Every order required to be served shall, where the public utility affected has an agent in the city of Concord, appointed as provided herein, be served upon said agent by giving a certified copy thereof to him in hand, or by leaving a like copy at his office or residence.
