Redundant Lines

No public utility or municipal utility shall construct redundant parallel electric utility lines. Such duplication of lines shall be deemed contrary to sound economic policy and contrary to the public interest. This section shall not apply until retail electric competition is certified to exist pursuant to RSA 38:36.
