N.H. Rev. Stat. Ann. § 478:7

The names of the debtors or defendants upon whose land any levy or extent shall be made, if the same is recorded, shall be entered as such in the index of grantors, and the names of the creditors or plaintiffs, as such, in the index of the grantees.
