Written findings required
Known as the Comprehensive Regulated Medical Waste Management Act
The act spans §§ 13:10-1 to 13:9C-4 (1,616 sections).

A permit required by section 2 of this act shall be issued only upon a written finding by the department that the authorized activities will not result in:
a. Any adverse consequences to groundwater and surface water;
b. Any significant degradation of landscape;
c. Any threat to public health and safety; and
d. Any substantial air and noise pollution.
