N.J. Stat. Ann. § 27:23-5.6

Return of certain roads to local authorities

Known as the New Jersey Turnpike Authority Act

The act spans §§ 27:23-1 to 27:23-9 (99 sections).

6. The Turnpike Authority is authorized to turn back to local authorities any road or portions of road taken over from such local authorities in connection with the establishing of a feeder road.
