N.J. Stat. Ann. § 2A:16-47

Entry of satisfaction by clerk

Known as the Structured Settlement Protection Act

The act spans §§ 2A:16-1–2A:16-9.2 (54 sections).

Upon the filing of the warrant, the clerk shall forthwith enter satisfaction on the record. All satisfactions entered in a county clerk's office shall be in the margin of the record of the judgment.
