The Commissioner of Insurance shall provide the commission with such personnel as he shall deem necessary, after consultation with the commission, for the proper discharge of the duties imposed by the provisions of this article. The Commissioner of Insurance shall prescribe the duties of persons thus assigned to the commission, and shall fix their compensation, within the limits of available appropriations therefor. The Commissioner of Insurance shall provide the commission with such office space, furniture and stationery as he shall determine, after consultation with the commission, to be reasonably necessary for carrying out the provisions of this article.
