Audits and investigations to assess manufacturer compliance

Known as the Protecting Against Forever Chemicals Act

9. The division may audit or investigate a manufacturer of a product covered under the provisions of this act to assess the manufacturer's compliance with the requirements of this act. The division shall be authorized to audit, or cause to be audited, a random sample of manufacturers of products covered under the provisions of this act in order to determine compliance with this act. A manufacturer shall cooperate fully with any audit or investigation conducted pursuant to this section. The division may require a manufacturer to pay the costs of an audit conducted pursuant to this section.
