§ 11-16-11 NMSA 1978

Licensing authority; administrator; expenses

Laws 2001, ch. 101, § 11.

A. The department of game and fish [department of wildlife] is designated as the licensing authority in New Mexico for the purposes of the Wildlife Violator Compact.

B. The director of the department of game and fish [department of wildlife] shall furnish to the appropriate authorities of the participating states any information or documents reasonably necessary to facilitate the administration of the Wildlife Violator Compact.

C. The compact administrator shall not be entitled to any additional compensation for his service as the compact administrator, but shall be entitled to expenses incurred in connection with his duties and responsibilities as compact administrator in the same manner as for expenses incurred in connection with other duties or responsibilities of his office or employment.
