§ 22-30-2 NMSA 1978

Definitions

Known as the Distance Learning Act

The act spans §§ 22–22 (9 sections).

As used in the Distance Learning Act:

A. "distance learning course" means an educational course provided through virtual instruction;

B. "distance learning student" means a qualified student in accordance with the provisions of the Public School Finance Act [Chapter 22, Article 8 NMSA 1978] who is enrolled in a full-time distance learning program; and

C. "full-time distance learning program" means a public school instructional program in which students receive virtual instruction and are not required to attend school at a school building.
