Distance learning students; enrollment

Known as the Distance Learning Act

The act spans §§ 22–22 (9 sections).

A. A school district shall not require a student to enroll in a full-time distance learning program.

B. A charter school shall not require a student to enroll in a full-time distance learning program.

C. The provisions of Subsections A and B of this section do not apply to a school district or charter school if temporary enrollment of the district's or charter school's students in a full-time distance learning program is necessary or appropriate during a public health emergency declared pursuant to the Public Health Emergency Response Act [Chapter 12, Article 10A NMSA 1978].
