§ 3-37-2 NMSA 1978

Finance; authorization

1953 Comp., § 14-36-2, enacted by Laws 1965, ch. 300.

The governing body shall:

A. control the finances and property of the municipality;

B. appropriate money for municipal purposes only; and

C. provide for payment of debts and expenses of the municipality.
