§ 30-3-8.1 NMSA 1978

Seizure and forfeiture of motor vehicle; procedure

Known as the Crimes Against Household Members Act

The act spans §§ 30–30 (24 sections).

A. A motor vehicle shall be subject to seizure and forfeiture when the vehicle is used or intended for use in the commission of the offense of shooting at or from a motor vehicle pursuant to Subsection B of Section 30-3-8 NMSA 1978.

B. The provisions of the Forfeiture Act [Chapter 31, Article 27 NMSA 1978] apply to the seizure, forfeiture and disposal of a motor vehicle subject to forfeiture pursuant to Subsection A of this section.
