Known as the Indian Arts and Crafts Sales Act

The purpose of the Indian Arts and Crafts Sales Act [ 30-33-1 to 30-33-11 NMSA 1978] is to protect the public and the Indian craftsman under the police powers of the state from false representation in the sale, trade, purchase or offering for sale of Indian arts and crafts.
